Custom glasses are often made from rare buffalo horn or tortoiseshell materials. The following is a detailed introduction to the specific processing process of custom glasses.
• 1. Select the material. According to the design drawing, select the appropriate material according to the selected pattern and thickness.
• 2. Flatten the material. Gently sweep the material with water, then place it in hot oil, let the material warm and soften, remove and flatten. Depending on the age of the material, this process can be repeated a little, and finally the material is pressed for 2-4 days until it is flat.
• 3. Manual mold. Paste the design drawing on the flat corner material, use a wire saw to cut along the contour line, and open a rough mold. It is then corrected by hand with a planer, file, and sandpaper to form a fine mold. Then put the front of the mirror frame against the operation panel, and the car is out of the film slot.
• 4. Press out the face bend. The frame is then placed in hot oil, heated to soften, bent to the required face bend, and then poured cold water to shape it.
• 5. Make temples. According to the same process as the mirror ring, the mold should be rounded carefully to ensure the comfort of wearing the glasses.
• 6. Install the hinge. Depending on the model of the hinge, the hinge bits are carved in advance, ground and polished. Then the hinge is correctly embedded into the hinge position according to the parameters such as the inclination angle and the angle of the temples.
• 7. Grinding. The glasses were cleaned of surface oil, and swept across the temples of the frame in acetone steam to remove deep, subtle scars. The rough pieces are then put into grinding materials mixed with bamboo granules, wood blocks, sand powder, and wisdom stone powder to grind for several days.
• 8. Polishing. After the glasses are coated with yellow wax, they are rough ground on a sander, and then polished with purple wax to obtain a good gloss and texture.
• 9. Inlaid LOGO. It is made according to the LOGO designed by private and installed on the designated part of the glasses.
• 10. The packaging is complete. Pack and install the glasses lining, and fix the length and curvature of the temples.
